Our legacy
Gandalf Distribution, formerly known as Gandalf, was founded by Uno Kraft in 1984, in Malmö, Sweden. Inspired by his love for "The Lord of the Rings," Uno named the company “Gandalf” after the wise and powerful wizard.
We are immensely proud of the legacy that Uno Kraft created, and that’s why we have kept the name Gandalf throughout the years. The name Gandalf is not only memorable but also symbolizes the qualities we strive for as a company – wisdom, reliability, and a commitment to helping our partners achieve their goals.

Since 2017, Gandalf Distribution AB has been part of the ELKO Group, operating in 11 countries. We import, market, and sell IT-related hardware, software, and consumer electronics to resellers and system integrators in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Iceland.
